DEFINITION OF TERMS


DEFINITION OF TERMS:
 
Abuse - is the improper usage or treatment for a bad purpose, often to unfairly or    improperly gain benefit, physical or verbal maltreatment, injury, sexual assault, violation, rape, unjust practices; wrongful practice or custom; offense; crime, or otherwise verbal aggression. Abuse can come in many forms.

Bullying -  is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person.

Bullycide - It refers to suicide attributable to the victim having been bullied.
School bullying –  is a type of bullying that occurs in connection with education, either inside or outside of school.
